Use AI to save time. Generate resources. Speed up planning. Automate feedback. Do more in less time.
The result: faster output, less thinking. And an uncomfortable feeling that something important is being lost.
Use AI as a thinking partner. A soundboard for lesson ideas. A space to pressure-test your thinking. A way to make your teaching practice more reflective, not less.
The result: you use AI more, but you also think more.
It means using AI to think out loud — not just to produce. You share a half-formed idea, a difficult student situation, a lesson that isn’t landing. The AI responds, questions, offers angles. You push back. The thinking develops. You arrive at something you wouldn’t have reached alone.
This is active learning with AI. Not passive consumption of AI-generated content.
The AI Literacy Lab is built on Circle. It is a space where educators ask questions, share experiments, and think through AI together — alongside structured mini-courses and weekly live sessions.
Dedicated channels for classroom questions, prompt experiments, ethics debates, and what’s working (and what isn’t). The conversations are as valuable as the courses.
Open Q&A and live demonstrations every week. Bring your real teaching challenge. Work through it in real time with other educators and direct guidance.
What matters in AI this week — filtered for educators. No hype, no panic. Just the developments that actually affect how you teach.
Six structured courses, each short enough to complete between lessons. No sequence required. Start where you need it most and return when the task demands it.
Downloads that stay useful. Prompt packs, cheatsheets, workflow guides, and ethics frameworks. Downloaded resources are yours permanently.
Every live session recorded and available. Missed a workshop? Catch the replay. Return when the same question resurfaces next term.
Each course is short, structured, and built around a real teaching need. Pick the one that matches what’s in front of you right now.
Foundation · 5 lessons
How AI actually works, why the mechanism matters, and how to start without guesswork. The foundation everything else builds on.
Curriculum · 17 lessons
From lesson design to study guides. AI as your co-designer — not your ghostwriter. Every demo shows the prompt, the output, and the teacher’s decisions.
Grading · 5 lessons
AI-assisted feedback, not automated grading. You stay the decision-maker. How to make your feedback process faster without making it worse.
Ethics · 11 lessons
The questions that don’t have easy answers. Academic integrity, AI detection, how to guide students, and what to do when you’re not sure.
Tools · 8 lessons
Not every AI is the same. This course shows you which tool does what, and how to use the ones that actually matter for educators.
Workflows · More lessons coming
Combining tools into real teaching workflows. The first lesson is live. More are being added as the course grows.
“If I’d had this when I was a full-time teacher, I would have spent a tenth of the time creating resources. What took me years could have been done in a fraction of that.”Former full-time teacher · 30+ years experience
“I’m not great at tech, but learning how to use AI properly has been fascinating. The tools make sense and I feel confident using them.”Experienced ESL teacher
“Technology scares me, but the way AI was explained made it an attainable tool — even for me.”Self-employed teacher · 20+ years
“I never used technology beyond basic tools before. Now I’m using AI resources confidently.”Independent educator
I’m an educator, a PhD researcher, and the founder of Gnosis Academy — a strategic communications advisory that helps professionals make their thinking carry weight in high-stakes rooms.
AI is central to that work. Not as a productivity shortcut, but as something that changes how thinking is framed, heard, and acted on. I became obsessed with understanding it properly: how it works, where it fails, and what it actually does to the quality of human judgment when people lean on it without scrutiny.
The AI Literacy Lab came out of a gap I kept running into with educators specifically. The training on offer was either panic or hype. Neither built real understanding. Neither helped teachers develop the judgment to make confident decisions — about their own practice, their students, or the harder ethical questions that arrive without warning.
This is the space I could not find. So I built it.
